Roller Blinds are a practical and increasingly popular option for New Zealand homes. They are especially popular for modern homes in keeping with the latest uncluttered and open plan styles, where they take up minimal window space.

Easy to operate and low maintenance, our roller blind hardware is corrosion resistant and can therefore be used in damp areas such as bathroom and kitchens, as well as the less challenging lounge and bedroom environments. Roller blinds are easy to operate with user friendly, easily adjustable manually operated mechanism.

Or you can consider increasingly popular motorised options, available for both new builds and retrofits, with can be operated by remote or there is even an option for a wifi controlled operation.

Deciding on colour and fabric for your roller blinds comes down to your personal preference. You may be after something contemporary or classic, depending on your style and home’s aesthetic.

Start by considering what you need the blinds to do: keep out the cold, filter or block light/sun, protect you from harmful UV rays etc for fabric choice.

NOTE: With better building materials in newer homes (such as double-glazed windows), blocking out cold is less of a priority. There is no harm in choosing blinds with insulating properties, but it isn’t as necessary in newer, modern homes

Sun Filter Roller Blinds

Blocks up to 97% of UV rays and reduces glare, without disturbing your view. Note: the dark screens provide a clearer view, fabrics with a lower openness factor provides greater sun protection and insulation but will inhibit the views.

Light Filter Roller Blinds

Light filtering blinds allow daytime light to filter through whilst still providing privacy, during both the night and day. Light filtering fabrics offer some protection for your furniture and carpets as well, making them especially popular for NZ homes.

Blockout Roller Blinds

Ideal for complete privacy and improved energy efficiency. Popular for blocking light in the bedroom particularly during summer months.

Double Roller Blinds (Combo’s)

A great solution for people who want a sun filter for daytime and a blockout blind for nighttime, all on the same window.

Ecowood Venetian Blinds

Ideal for wet areas, Ecowood is incredibly durable composite material with a non-porous surface. With a choice of a smooth or embossed (wood grain effect) finish, these are stylish and functional blinds that enhance any interior environment.

Slat size – 50mm wide x 3.2mm thick. Slats have excellent colour uniformity and consistency, that will not fade, blister or crack.

Truwood blinds are a robust and stylish timber blind, produced from genuine Marupa tree wood grown in renewable plantations.  Available in a range of natural wood and painted styles which are also finished which with a heavy-duty UV coating, to protect the natural timber against New Zealand’s harsh climate.

Slat Size – 50mm wide x 3.2mm thick or 60mm wide x 3.2mm thick (in white only).

There are two slate sizes 50mm wide and 60mm (in white only) wide x 3.2mm thick. Slats have excellent colour uniformity and consistency, that will not fade, blister or crack.

Manufactured from exceptionally durable powder-coated aluminium, these Aluminium Venetian blinds are ideal for both residential and commercial interiors, to achieve privacy and light control. For added durability and resistance to scratching or corrosion, aluminum blind slats are also oven baked with enamel paint.

Slat Size – Contemporary 25mm slat (with over 30 colours available).
